Camellia Entertainment is a film financing and production company. Their first feature, STRUCK BY LIGHTNING, had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in April 2012 and stars the Emmy-nominated Chris Colfer, Allison Janney, Christina Hendricks and Rebel Wilson. The film will be released in theaters, January 2013. Additionally, they are in pre-production on RAYS OF LIGHT with director Batan Silva, and BOULEVARD with director Dito Montiel (Empire State, A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints). Both films are set to shoot in the first half of 2013. There are three partners at the company:
ROBERTO AGUIRE is a rising actor/producer. He graduated from the Tisch program at NYU with a degree in Economics and Drama.
MONICA AGUIRRE DIEZ BARROSO studied Cinema Studies at the University of Pennsylvania and has worked for Yves Saint Laurent, Vogue Latin America and ICM.
MIA CHANG graduated from East Carolina University with a degree in International Business & Communications. Mia excelled at the entertainment talent agency ICM, in both the Talent and International Film Finance departments.
